Conducting a training needs assessment for a large US hospital network

Following a merger of multiple hospitals, our client wanted to define how teams could function cohesively following the large-scale organisational change. There was little documentation of what skills were critical amongst the combined teams, outdated job descriptions, and no clear understanding of the learning landscape. Therefore, the skill gaps and training needs in the digital organisation needed to be assessed in order to clarify a path to upskill employees and help them thrive in the new organisation.
