Clare discusses the importance of having and understanding the customer perspective: “when we’re able to go and talk to our customers, the nicest thing we’re able to do is to be in the same boat with them… and keep having a conversation so that we’re ready to support them when they need us, and when we can.” She looks at how essential it is to do the customer / user research, to understand the customer / user behind the product or service, and then integrate it with the rest of the business to understand “how we work, live, and play” together.
