Joining the Clarasys team as a grad.

Our graduate scheme has gotten better, offering the chance to build relationships and interests as well as new skills, of course!

We are experts in business analysis, programme & change management, process improvement and customer experience. However, being a Clarasys consultant is not just about delivering the same thing over and over again. We provide tailored solutions to our clients using tried and tested methods – designing and delivering lasting change with the customer and end user in mind. And when projects come to an end, our clients are empowered to be self-sufficient.

Award-winning

Clarasys wouldn’t be the award-winning consultancy it is today without a great team. Here, we talk a lot. In fact, our office can get pretty noisy when our consultants share ideas and solve problems together. But that’s the way we like it. We find this willingness to help one another ensures we never feel isolated or overwhelmed.

Internal work

When our consultants aren’t with a client, they make a direct impact on the growth and development of our company. We work in internal teams to contribute to our internal policies and processes, redesign our website alongside a marketing agency, and procure new contracts with providers for collaboration tools.

Pro bono work

Charity work is an important part of who we are and what we represent. We encourage each employee to ‘give back’, and aim to dedicate 1000 days each year across the organisation to work on pro-bono projects and raising money for charity. We’ve worked with the Imperial War Museum and the Social Mobility Foundation to help them run more efficiently. We’ve also taught English in a school overseas.

Stay-in-touch

We are often on-site with clients, so we stay in touch through weekly manager meetings, company days, company birthdays and monthly socials. At these events, we share ideas and experiences and have a good catch-up. We’ve been rock climbing, sailing, chocolate making, skiing and have attended wellbeing classes. We’ve also been known to support our local bars and restaurants.

Can you tick any of these boxes?

  • Degree – Do you have a degree in any subject?
  • Problem-solving – Do you enjoy solving problems and finding solutions? Can you think analytically?
  • Teamwork – Can you work independently and as part of a team?
  • Learn new skills – Are you proactive about learning new things? Are you able to grasp different concepts quickly?
  • Communication – Can you present and share your thoughts clearly?

If the answer is yes, you’d make a fantastic Associate Consultant!

What happens once you join?

Getting to know Clarasys

You’ll spend ½ a day with one of the Clarasys directors, followed by another ½ day with your coach to find out who we are, why we’re different and what we value.

Understanding you

Your new Clarasys coach will call you prior to you joining Clarasys to gauge your experience and once you have started you will spend time with them to guide and help you develop and reach your potential at Clarasys.

Tailored training

We’ll adapt your induction training based on the conversation with our Head of L&D and your coach. The programme introduces you to the Clarasys ways of working and the Clarasys approach to solve complex problems using our Clarasys Agile Method alongside business analysis, change management and project management. We will ensure you are familiar and trained in all the tools and techniques we use at Clarasys, ahead of starting your first project.

“The training not only prepared me to go onto a client with a good knowledge base, but it also made me ready to go on as a Clarasys consultant.” – Alex Bacon, Senior Consultant.

Connecting with your Clarasys peers

We’ll introduce you to different project teams by visiting client sites. These client visits will give you a view of the variety of the work we do, how we collaborate to solve problems and enable you to meet different members of the team early to start building relationships and grow your support system.

“The induction process provides great exposure to the people, culture and internal ways of working. What stands out most for me as an experienced hire is the opportunity to do a client site tour, meeting everyone and getting an insight into the types of projects that are taking place and the contributions that consultants are making individually and as a group. This enables a better and quicker understanding of the business and helps identify the roles that are best suited to my personal profile and in which I can add the most value.” – Ellie Geldard, Consultant.

Continuous development

You’ll receive ongoing support & weekly 1-2-1s with your coach. We’ll help you discover new interests and achieve your development goals from a variety of training opportunities. Obviously you will grow your knowledge and expertise during your different assignments by learning on the job from your Clarasys colleagues and share your own experiences as part of our collaborative team.

We understand that salary and benefits are important factors when considering new job opportunities, that’s why we recognise our graduates’ hard work and ensure they’re rewarded generously.
