What you’ll be doing

Market leadership and commercial growth

  • Lead market-facing AI and transformation activity to generate, shape and convert net-new opportunities.
  • Build strong senior relationships with buyers, sponsors and CIO-level stakeholders, establishing Clarasys as a credible partner in AI-enabled transformation.
  • Act as an energetic, high-impact external presence who can open doors, lead conversations and create momentum in the market.
  • Lead at least one major AI-led “big rock” pursuit from market interest through to qualified pipeline and conversion.
  • Build and maintain a relevant network across clients, partners, industry bodies and the wider AI and transformation community.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales on AI go-to-market activity, lead development, qualification, campaigns, events and thought leadership.
  • Shape opportunities around real client problems, measurable outcomes and practical routes to implementation.
  • Apply strong commercial judgement, balancing client value, strategic fit, delivery risk, margin, capacity and sustainable growth.

AI & Transformation proposition leadership

  • Own the AI & Transformation proposition across the UK and US.
  • Shape and lead AI-enabled transformation propositions for both internal and client-facing use.
  • Turn emerging AI work into named, repeatable offers, methods, accelerators and client stories that are easier to sell and easier to scale.
  • Connect AI strategy, use-case discovery, business case development, pilot and scale, data and process, operating model, culture change, adoption, governance and value realisation into a coherent proposition.
  • Use market insight, client feedback and delivery experience to identify gaps and create differentiated solutions.
  • Build Clarasys’ point of view on responsible AI, emerging technology and the future of work.
  • Contribute to external thought leadership and help establish Clarasys as a trusted voice in AI-enabled business transformation.

Client delivery and executive advisory

  • Lead complex AI and business transformation engagements from discovery and strategy through design, implementation, adoption and value realisation.
  • Set the direction for programmes and portfolios, aligning objectives, approach, scope, resources, governance, milestones and outcomes.
  • Advise executive stakeholders with credibility, constructive challenge and clear recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops that align leadership, uncover opportunities, clarify problems, test options and define practical future states.
  • Translate strategic ambition into benefit-led roadmaps covering business capabilities, value streams, processes, operating models, roles, skills, data, technology and change.
  • Help clients identify and prioritise high-impact AI use cases, develop robust business cases and test value through rapid pilots and proof-of-value activity.
  • Design the conditions for responsible adoption, including governance, assurance, communications, training, change networks, measurement and feedback loops.
  • Manage delivery risk, dependencies, suppliers, quality, financial performance, scope and senior stakeholder expectations.
  • Keep people at the centre of transformation and ensure clients are able to own, improve and sustain the changes after the engagement ends.

Practice and people leadership

  • Build a senior and mid-level team in AI, data and change, creating clearer development paths and bench strength under your leadership.
  • Coach and mentor consultants, helping people develop their consulting, specialist and leadership capability.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance development and the creation of an inclusive, psychologically safe environment where people can learn, challenge and do their best work.
  • Create communities of practice that share knowledge, strengthen delivery capability and spread effective approaches across Clarasys.
  • Contribute to Clarasys’ wider innovation and AI agenda, including future-focused thinking, market insight, capability building and responsible experimentation.
  • Help improve our methods, intellectual property and ways of working beyond individual client engagements.
  • Contribute to the leadership and continuous improvement of Clarasys as an employee-owned business.

What this role is not

This is not simply a senior delivery role focused on executing AI work that has already been sold. It is a proposition-building and growth role first.

You must be credible in transformation delivery, but the bigger expectation is that you can lead externally, shape propositions, generate demand and convert that demand into repeatable revenue. You will be expected to build a practice around you, rather than operate as a single expert contributor.

What we are looking for

You are a senior AI, data or transformation leader who can connect market opportunity, client value and high-quality delivery. You can move comfortably between an executive conversation, a proposition workshop, a complex delivery decision and a coaching conversation.
You will likely bring:
  • Strong AI and data literacy, combined with transformation delivery experience at scale.
  • Strong change leadership, with the ability to land behaviour, process and operating model shifts in complex organisations.
  • Experience building or shaping consulting propositions, with clear storytelling and confidence in external, senior-client settings.
  • A track record of market-facing and lead-generating activity, with evidence of helping originate, shape and win net-new opportunities.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-workstream programmes or portfolios involving senior stakeholders, multiple functions, locations, suppliers or delivery partners.
  • Experience taking work from strategy and business case through pilot, implementation, adoption, scaling and benefits realisation.
  • Strong commercial capability, including understanding of scope, pricing, contracts, margin, cash flow, resourcing and delivery risk.
  • Executive presence and the credibility to build trusted CIO-level relationships.
  • The ability to connect AI possibilities to real business problems, measurable outcomes and practical implementation. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be able to work confidently across business and technology conversations.
  • A genuine interest in responsible AI, emerging technology, innovation and the future of work.
  • The energy, ambition and breakthrough mentality to create momentum internally and externally.
  • A leadership style that is collaborative, inclusive, self-aware and focused on enabling others to succeed.
  • The ability to build a team and practice around you, creating capability and opportunity for others.
  • The judgement to balance the needs of clients, Clarasys and our people when making complex decisions.
Examples of scale might include programmes affecting more than 100 people, work spanning multiple locations, budgets in the hundreds of thousands or millions, C-suite engagement, or proposals that converted into significant new revenue. These are examples of the scale and outcomes we value, not a checklist.

What success looks like

In this role, you will:
  • Build a healthy pipeline of high-quality AI and Transformation opportunities across the UK and US.
  • Lead a major AI-led pursuit from market interest through to qualified pipeline and conversion.
  • Win and grow senior client relationships through insight, credibility and a clear connection between our propositions and client outcomes.
  • Strengthen the quality, relevance and repeatability of Clarasys’ AI & Transformation offers.
  • Lead engagements that deliver measurable value, strong adoption and lasting client capability.
  • Be recognised by clients and colleagues as a trusted advisor and a credible “friend of the CIO”.
  • Build a high-performing team with clear development paths and growing bench strength.
  • Establish a stronger market presence for Clarasys in AI-enabled business transformation.
  • Contribute to sustainable growth across the London office and the wider Clarasys business.
