Do you want to play a defining role in Clarasys’ next phase of growth?
We are looking for a senior commercial leader to help us win, grow and deepen relationships with major private-sector clients. This role is designed to bring focused business development energy, senior client credibility and the network strength needed to land and expand “big rock” accounts across Clarasys.
This person would lead a portfolio and play a critical role in strengthening wider portfolio growth, with a particular focus on converting market demand into meaningful, profitable revenue.
What you’ll be doing
Working externally and with senior clients, you’ll be:

Leading private-sector business development across priority UK and US commercial sectors.

Building and using a strong external network to create access, develop relationships and open doors with senior buyers and partners.

Leading high-value account strategies to land new strategic clients and expand existing ones.

Acting as an exec-level presence with clients - bringing credibility, challenge and commercial sharpness to senior conversations.

Owning the commercial thread from early relationship through to qualified opportunity, proposition shaping and conversion.
And across Clarasys, you’ll be:

Leading a portfolio and helping shape a clear growth story for private-sector accounts.

Working closely with proposition leads across AI, Customer Lifecycle and Purpose & Impact to turn market demand into sellable, differentiated client offers.

Partnering with Marketing to create stronger hooks, campaigns, thought leadership and market engagement that support lead generation and conversion.

Helping Clarasys build greater senior commercial capacity so we are less reliant on a small number of individuals to drive growth.
What this role is not
This is not primarily a delivery leadership role or a general portfolio management role. It is a growth role first and foremost.
Whilst this person should understand large transformation delivery and be credible with senior clients, the core expectation is that they bring the hunger, judgement, network and commercial instinct to create and convert opportunities at senior level.
Level and location
This role is likely suited to:

An experienced Associate Director with a strong private-sector BD track record.
The role is likely to be UK-based initially, with explicit expectations around supporting US client development over time.
Critical capabilities

A hunter mentality, with a clear track record of originating, shaping and closing multi-million-pound work.

Strong executive presence and partner-level gravitas.

A strong private-sector specialism - ideally Change, though Operating Model could also be a strong fit.

Experience as a senior account lead in large, transformational client environments.

The ability to co-create compelling solutions with proposition and delivery teams, rather than trying to sell in isolation.

Strong commercial judgement, including the ability to balance growth, margin and strategic fit.

Confidence-building trusted senior relationships that lead to repeat business, expansion and referrals.
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom and able to commute to Clarasys London HQ.
