Change Management Consultant
📍 Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Who are we?
We are experts in business analysis, program management, change, sustainability process improvement, and customer experience. However, being a Clarasys consultant is not just about delivering the same thing over and over again. We ensure the work we do is tailored to our clients, and when projects come to an end, our clients are empowered to be self-sufficient.
At Clarasys, ‘team’ rules over ‘individual’ and professional development is part of our DNA, not just a training course. We give our consultants early and ongoing responsibility, directly having an impact on client projects. You will be able to lead impactful work with them - and deliver excellence on client projects.
It’s the best of both worlds - a chance to join an established, successful consultancy and to enjoy the start-up environment as part of our rapidly growing team in Boston.
Who are you?
You’ll be someone who wants more from their job and career. You’ll have the typical consulting background (strong academics, excellent stakeholder management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills) and want to apply them as part of a dynamic, talented team on exciting work. You’ll care about bettering yourself and want to be in an environment which actively promotes and supports you to do so.
You’ll see things like weekly coaching sessions as a huge benefit, team socials as a chance to let your hair down, and pro bono work as an opportunity to give something back. You’ll care about experience, knowledge, and capability - not hierarchy, and you’ll be passionate about turning your ideas into outcomes that benefit the whole company. You’ll be a consultant who wants to do the right thing above all else.
We are seeking consultant candidates with 6-10 years of experience in consulting at a consulting firm with a focus on client-facing roles and expertise in the following areas:
- Lead and execute the end-to-end change strategy: Own the case for change, and drive the realization of defined benefits/KPIs with senior stakeholders. Translate strategic assessments into action: Directly manage stakeholder engagement and deliver comprehensive, integrated change execution plans (communications, training, hypercare).
- Hands-on execution and governance: Establish, manage, and facilitate fit-for-purpose change governance, champion networks, and directly manage risk mitigation through the delivery lifecycle.
- Bonus: Prosci certification
- Lead complex change transitions: Own the design, creation, and deployment of all communications and training deliverables, ensuring seamless hypercare and handover to the business.
- Measure and optimize: Actively manage and analyze adoption metrics and sentiment data, implementing iterative changes (A/B tests, nudges) to continuously improve user proficiency and value realization.
- Lead engagement team; QA deliverables; build client change capability/CoE.
As a Managing Consultant, your role extends beyond Change Management to include core consulting leadership and business development, requiring you to also:
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex programs/portfolios: define scope, plan/estimate, manage risks/issues, and drive value realization.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams; set structure and standards, provide feedback, and QA deliverables.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders; communicate clear recommendations and drive alignment to decisions.
- Grow accounts and pipeline; lead proposals (incl. RFPs), deepen client relationships, and build an external network.
- Run commercials and operations—manage internal systems hygiene, scheduling, and forecasting; protect margin and hit KPIs.
