London - May 22, 2026
Multi-award-winning business consultancy, Clarasys, has been named one of the UK’s best medium-sized workplaces in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, recognising the consultancy’s continued focus on creating a supportive, people-centred culture.
The recognition reflects the experience people have at Clarasys day to day, from the support they receive to the opportunities they have to grow and do meaningful work. It is the 7th year the firm has appeared in the prestigious annual awards published today.
Clarasys, which has almost 180 staff based in London and Boston, is well known in the professional services industry for its progressive culture and unique employee experience.
Founded in 2011, the employee-owned company has a flat hierarchy and a culture that fosters transparency, trust, and collaboration. Its employee ownership model, which means every Clarasys person has a stake in the company’s future, is credited for its continued growth and innovation.
Clarasys supports its people through a range of initiatives designed to help them thrive at work and beyond. These include a flexible working policy, funded learning and development opportunities, paid volunteering leave and peer-to-peer recognition. Each team member is matched with a dedicated coach to support personal and professional growth throughout their career at the company.
New consultants work on not-for-profit projects before moving on to the firm’s other clients, and there is an online platform that allows employees to recognise and reward each other with a small financial prize.
As part of the maternity and paternity package, new parents are offered a phased return to work. A buddy scheme also enables parents to learn from one another. Other benefits include regular “lunch on the house”, monthly socials, income protection insurance, and an annual profit share.
Chief People Officer, Sophie Andrews, said: “This recognition means a great deal because it reflects the culture our people create every day. We work hard to build an environment where people feel trusted, supported and able to do meaningful work, and it is brilliant to see that recognised.”
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards are based on an anonymous survey to assess employee engagement, well-being, and discretionary effort in the workplace.
Zoe Thomas, editor of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, said: “The Best Places to Work have the resilience to weather the current economic storms baked in, thanks to engaged workers who go above and beyond with a smile. The thread joining them is the belief that a happy workforce is a stepping stone to better performance, faster growth, and bigger profits. More than that, there’s a collective instinct that a contented rank-and-file is a worthwhile business goal in and of itself.”
Earlier this year, Clarasys was also named one of the UK’s leading management consultancies by the Financial Times for the sixth consecutive year.
