LGBTQ+ allyship podcast – part one

Written by William Thomas | July 16 2020

Pride has been an important part of London’s summer events since the first official UK Gay Pride Rally which was held in London on 1 July 1972. So, in a time of lockdown when a Pride march wasn’t physically possible, how can we celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community?

The theme of London 2020’s Pride celebration is #YouMeUsWe, calling out the crucial need for allyship in order to heal rifts between groups. We have created a two-part podcast with members of our team at Clarasys to discuss exactly what we think an ally is, what it means to be an ally, and how we can be better allies today.

In part one of this podcast, Clarasys team members discuss what they think an ally is to the LGBTQ+ community.

Listen in to learn more about what an ally is and how important allyship is to the LGBTQ+ community.
